Full Agreement to Terms: Accessing, browsing, or utilizing the PDFListo platform (https://pdflisto.org) and its affiliated utilities confers user status and establishes full, unconditional agreement with each provision detailed herein. If you disagree with these terms, you must discontinue using our services immediately.

1. Service Description & Scope

PDFListo delivers a comprehensive suite of browser-based utilities for viewing, merging, splitting, compressing, organizing, numbering, converting, and digitally signing Portable Document Format (PDF) files. All utilities execute strictly under the Client-Side computing paradigm: binary byte streams and document trees are manipulated directly inside your device's memory via modern browser execution engines (JavaScript V8, SpiderMonkey, WebAssembly).

Access to core tools is provided free of charge, with zero registration barriers, no account sign-ups, and no payment requirements.

2. Intellectual Property Rights & Document Ownership

Concerning proprietary rights, the platform establishes two clear boundaries:

Exclusive User Ownership of Uploaded Documents: You retain 100% full ownership, copyright, and intellectual property rights over all files, graphics, texts, and photos processed using PDFListo. PDFListo does not claim, acquire, or license any rights to your documents. Because files never touch our servers, you maintain uncompromised sovereignty over your confidential data.
Platform Intellectual Property: All interface code, software architectures, algorithms, graphics, brand identifiers, and educational editorial copy are the intellectual property of Darío Torralbo or are utilized under compliant open-source licenses (MIT/Apache 2.0). Automated scraping, reverse engineering, or unauthorized commercial replication of the platform is strictly prohibited.

3. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

Users expressly agree to utilize the platform in strict accordance with applicable laws, ethical standards, and good faith. You must not:

Process documents containing fraudulent, defamatory, malicious, child exploitative, or illegally sourced material.
Infringe upon the copyright, patent, trade secret, or privacy rights of third parties without explicit authorization.
Attempt to disrupt, penetrate, or compromise the integrity of our web servers through denial-of-service attacks or malicious code injections.
Deploy automated scrapers, web spiders, or automated bots that place excessive, abnormal loads on our infrastructure.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

PDFListo is provided strictly on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDFListo and its developers disclaim liability for:

Accidental data loss or binary corruption occurring on the user's device during local execution. Users are advised to retain backups of original source documents.
Rejections of submitted documents by third-party judicial portals, educational registries, or government tax agencies due to administrative filing rules.
Temporary downtime, network interruptions, or browser incompatibility on deprecated hardware.
Direct, indirect, consequential, punitive, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform.

5. Modifications to the Service & Terms

We reserve the right to modify, enhance, or discontinue any feature or tool at any time without liability. These Terms of Service may be updated periodically to mirror legal or architectural developments. Continued use after revisions constitutes binding acceptance of amended terms.

6. Third-Party Advertising & Links

The platform displays programmatic advertisements managed by verified networks (Google AdSense). We do not control third-party websites or services linked within advertisements and disclaim all responsibility for external policies or vendor claims.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted under applicable laws. Any legal disputes arising out of the use of PDFListo shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent judicial courts, waiving any other venue privileges.

Under no circumstances shall PDFListo, its creators, or hosting partners be liable for:

Accidental data loss, binary object corruption, or browser client memory crashes during file transformation. Users must maintain secure independent backups.
Rejection of submissions by public court filing portals, banking KYC systems, or tax authorities due to non-technical regulatory discrepancies.
Temporary downtime, CDN edge network latencies, or browser incompatibility with outdated device runtimes.
Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from platform usage or inability to use the tools.

5. Service Modifications & Feature Deprecation

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, update, or discontinue any utility, format converter, or feature across PDFListo at any time without prior notification and without incurring liability.

6. Third-Party Advertising & External Links

The platform displays programmatic display advertisements powered by Google AdSense and certified networks. PDFListo exercises no editorial control over linked third-party goods or services and disclaims all liability for commercial dealings between users and third-party advertisers.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with international commercial law standards. Any dispute or claim arising from website usage shall be resolved through competent courts having jurisdiction.
